How to set up the vision mixer

Flicker issues: 50hz accepted by edirol v4, but 60hz as only setting on laptop. Pronounced at bottom half of the screen. So most graphics cards allow you to set the hertz, but this one didn't! Highest gamer tab settings are fixed as it's a gamer's laptop (a dell xps m1710) - or presumes gamers don't want to be bothered with these trivialities.

Go to control panel: display properties, advanced. G-Force Go7900GTX (basically choose the name of your graphics card) Nvidia control panel Select a category (this is the name of an option there) Video and television Change the signal or hd format, scroll down to UK-I/PAL, Accept (within 10 seconds).

Apparently most computers allow for settings like these in the bios as well...

Once we did this, bluescreen worked like a dream...

The first thing that came to mind to do was to become a first person shooter. Jon modelled for us as a shooting psycho.

Interesting that the first idea was to reinsert the missing head from the FPS p.o.v - to re embody the avatar. It also seemed like an interesting possibility to bring some blue clothes to give bits of body in the image - back to the floating heads of early avatar environments.
